Mervyn Spears 'Bob'
It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Mervyn Spears.
Better known as Bob or Bobby.
Dearly loved husband of Brenda Spears.
Much loved father and father-in-law of Ronald & Amanda and Kevin (dec).
Loved grandfather of Nathan & Jess and Trent & Briony.
Cherished brother of Patty and Barry Spears.
Late of Graham Street, Griffith and formerly of Binya who passed away peacefully
at Uniting Aged Care, Griffith on Sunday 26th May 2024 at the age of 87 years.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service which will be held in the Lawn section of the Griffith cemetery on Friday 31st May 2024 commencing at 1:00pm.
Members and supporters of the Griffith Swans Football Club are respectfully invited to attend and form a guard of honour.

Dear Brenda and family, sorry to hear about the passing of Bob. We have fond memories of the many dinners, lunches and laughs around the Spears family table with you and Bob. Bob was always up for a good chat and always willing to help someone out. The hospitality of you, Bob and the wonderful people we were fortunate to meet in Griffith and at the Swans made us Mexicans (aka Victorians) feel incredibly welcome.
