It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Maria Schimizzi.

Dearly loved wife of the Late Sebastiano Schimizzi.

Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Elizabeth & Sam Sergi, Rosemary & Robert Lo Pilato, Anna & Larry Mazza, Dominic & Cathy Schimizzi and Maria & Michael Toohey.

Cherished Nanna of her 12 grandchildren and Big Nanna of her 26 great grandchildren.

Late of Davidson Place, Griffith, who passed away peacefully at Scalabrini Village, Yoogali, on Monday 6th February 2023, at the age of 82 years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Requiem Mass which is to be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Griffith, on Tuesday 14th February 2023, commencing at 9:30am, followed by an interment in the Roman Catholic portion of the Griffith cemetery.

By Maria’s request there is no lutto being held.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being gratefully received for the Sisters of St Ann at the Scalabrini Village.
