It is with deep regret that we announce the death of John Vannoort.
Affectionately known as ‘Vanno’
Dearly loved husband of Sharon.
Much loved father and father-in-law of Adrian & Phoebe, Timothy & Ang and Sophie & Harley.
Adored Pop of Seth, Kleo, Selene, Charlotte and Fletcher.
Loved son of Betty & the Late John Vannoort.
Late of Keats Street, Hillston, who passed away peacefully at the Calvary Hospital, Wagga Wagga, on Friday 30th September 2022, at the age of 67 years.
Relatives and friends of the late John Vannoort are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service which is to be held at the Hillston Cemetery on Friday 7th October 2022, commencing at 11:00am.
In lieu of Flowers donations are being gratefully received for the Hillston Branch of Can Assist.

Today I say good bye to a childhood friend. I spent many summer holidays in Hillston with the Vannoorts. Johnny loved to tease me. Being a city girl, there was a lot of material for his quick wit and dry humour. He sure did have some fun though, and taught me a thing or two along the way. For example, (age 13) shut the hell up, or he will keep dumping those newly shot, warm, limp, bleeding rabbits on your bare feet! Hillston has lost a good friend, never to be forgotten.
