It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Dane Richards.
Dearly loved son of Lesley Richards, Brad Richards and his partner Carrie.
Loved brother of Joshua Richards and Chloe Richards.
Cherished grandson of Brian & Bev Richards, Patricia & Allan Borham and Ken Lewis.
Great grandson of Sophie Bowen and Leslie Lewis.
Loved also by Tama Ta Tai.
Late of Gillmartin Drive, Griffith, and also of ‘Carlisle’ Monia Gap, who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday 25th June 2023, at the age of 18 years.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funersl service which is to be held at the Anglican Cathedral Church of St Alban the Martyr, Griffith, on Wednesday 5th July 2023, commencing at 10:00am, followed by an interment in the lawn section of the Griffith cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations are being gratefully received for the ‘Boys to the Bush” organization.

As one of Dane's Coaches in the Lake Sharks Under 7's, I still remember this little boy, at the ripe old age of 4, stepping up to do battle as a mighty shark, the heart of a lion, trapped in that tiny little body taking it up to monsters at least twice his size without so much a flinch.
